Throwback: before we get the Apple Tablet lets remember Newton

So this is more of a fun throw back post. I am betting that on the 27th we will see an introduction of the long awaited Apple Tablet (call it an iSlate, iPad, Touch Mac, etc). Apple made an announcement yesterday that it will be introducing its "latest creation" on the 27th at Yerba Buena center. The stock price jumped and the rumor mill kicked into overdrive.

In all of the hype i thought it would be fun to look at the old Apple Newton ads. I found this on gizmodo. Check it out and think how far Apple has come since the 90's. Disclaimer: i am very partial to the Newton, it is the reason my family immigrated to the US.
